Last night Maritama Carlson, producer, and Marie Tate, casting director, went to WIFTV’s 1st Summer Fest. Women in Film & Television Vancouver (WIFTV) an organization committed to creating an equitable screen-based industry for women and gender diverse people through addressing systemic barriers. At the close of the event, after the screenings, they enjoyed a gala with special industry guests, entertainment and more. Maritama, Marie and the other attendees of the recent TV Production workshop were introduced. Well done ladies, we are glad you enjoyed celebrating everyone’s hard work.
